Rebuild The Gates

Nehemiah 2:17 KJV Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land
Nehemiah 4:17 KJV They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon.

It is time for us to begin the process of rebuilding the fallen gates and walls of America. Taking to heart God’s promise outlined in 2 Chronicles 7:14. As we begin to fulfill each of the conditions. We can have faith and confidence to know that God will fulfill His promises:

Promises
I will hear from heaven
Forgive their sin
Heal their land

Conditions
My people shall humble themselves and pray
Seek my face
Turn from their wicked ways

Sadly, America is a society in decline. She has fallen spiritually, no longer standing as a light to the nations. In 1620, when the pilgrims arrived off the coast of Provincetown, they wrote the Mayflower Compact, a document stating that they undertook their journey for the Glory of God and the Advancement of the Christian Faith.” A great deal has taken place in America since then.

With our eyes wide open, let’s remember what occurred In Nehemiah 4:17, how it gives us a glimpse of what is ahead with one hand focused on the work of rebuilding and the other wielding a weapon.

I want to invite you to join me in a time of rebuilding and battling, reenacting the 52 days Nehemiah and those with him took to rebuild the gates and walls around Jerusalem. Our rebuilding will consist of having a daily time of fasting and prayer, and the battling will consist of spending 30 minutes of praise and worship each day from July 22nd until September 11th.

Our assignment will start in Provincetown on July 22nd, the location of Massachusetts’ Eastern gate; then continue with us visiting the Northern Gate on July 29th, the Western Gate on August 6th, and the Southern Gates on August 12 as well as our time to celebrate the completion on September 10th, More information to follow.
